Gulfers was born from a love of golf, travel, and the feeling of being by the coast. The name combines “gulf” — inspired by coastlines, oceans, and movement — with golf, creating something that feels bigger than just the sport itself. It represents a lifestyle built around adventure, creativity, competition, and connection.

The name also holds a personal meaning. The “G” in Gulfers is subtly formed by combining the initials of founders Caitlin and Jess — a reflection of the partnership and friendship behind the brand.

More than apparel, Gulfers is about the places golf takes you. From New Zealand mountains to Australian coastlines, from city courses to quiet country clubs, every collection is inspired by different landscapes, cultures, and experiences encountered through travel and tournament life.

Founded by professional golfers Caitlin Cotterill and Jess Green, Gulfers was created from a shared vision to bring a different perspective to golf apparel and culture.

After years of traveling, competing, and creating content within the golf world, they saw an opportunity to build something that reflected the side of golf they connected with most — the lifestyle, the people, the creativity, the landscapes, and the experiences beyond the scorecard.

Caitlin competes on the WPGA Tour and has spent years traveling internationally through golf, combining professional sport with content creation and brand storytelling. Jess brings a strong creative eye and shared passion for fashion, travel, and modern golf culture.

Together, they created Gulfers as a brand that feels intentional, elevated, and connected to the places and experiences that shaped them.
